& around Pune in the west, Goa, Nandi

Somewhere in India is flyable almost
all year round, except during the monsoon
months of July to early September when the
winds are crazy. The best flying season varies
from site to site but generally post-monsoon
October to March is good. This makes
India an excellent place to come when the
weather in Europe has deteriorated and the
Southern Hemisphere season has not yet started.

up there with the the birds will surely help
you decide wether to take up the sport or
not. but when you're up there its like nothing
CAUTION: There some really unsafe tandem pilots
around. Crosscheck with the local flyers and
at the flyer hangouts BEFORE !. Prices
vary but are in the Rs1500 to Rs3000 range.
During tourist season the prices tend to go
up and you should book in advance to get the
best time of day.
The other better option is to take a 3 or
more day Paragliding Holiday and enjoy
maximum flytime with everything taken care
